December Wish List

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Why? Well not only is it Christmas, it’s the one time of the year when I can write out a wish list guilt free! To be frank, I started this wish list at the start of November because I was eager to get into the Christmas spirit! Being my first Christmas out of home and away from my family, I was excited to start collecting decorations and develop my own Christmas style. While some might say I’ve jumped the gun, I think it’s never too earlier to start thinking about Christmas and (most importantly) what you’d like to find under the tree!

  1. LUSH Santa Baby Lip Scrub

Anyone who’s read my Friyay: Honey Honey piece last month will know how much I love LUSH’s lip scrubs, so I’d be overjoyed to find a festive pot under the Christmas tree or stuffed in my stocking!

  2. Urban Outfitters Round Pintuck Pillow

I’ve been in love with this pillow for so many years. Only thing is, they don’t ship this product internationally. I’m hoping for a Christmas miracle to get my hands on one, but never the less this pillow’s intricate detailing is worth admiring.

  3. Kikki.K Lover’s Advent Calendar: JOY

I’ve made no effort to conceal my love for Kikki.K in the past, and I’m not about to start now! When they released this years advent calendar, I immediately fell in love. It contains many gorgeous Kikki.K products, from candles to stationary to Christmas decorations. If it wasn’t well and truely out of my price range, I’d have snapped one up already!

  4. Chelsea Peers Reindeer Foil Print Pyjamas

I love spending my weekends livin’  in a comfy pyjama set, but I always struggle to find styles I like. In a world where pyjamas are either floral or quirky, I’m on the hunt for a set that’s either black and white, geometric, metallic and cheap! While this Chelsea Peers pyjama set doesn’t tick all the boxes, it’s divine and absolutely PERFECT for Christmas morning.

  5. T2 All That Glitters

I have to confess – I’ve already got 50% of what’s in this amazing T2 gift box. New York Breakfast is one of my favourite teas, so I always have some on hand. What I don’t have is the beautiful packaging and the gold printed glass it’s teamed up with. Maybe it’s not something I need, but it’s definitely something I want!

  6. ASOS Christmas Jumper with Vintage Fairisle and Roll Neck

Okay, so this jumper is completely unpractical for an Australian Christmas. But it’s so gorgeous and it’d be a dream to have a White Christmas one year and wear this jumper to keep me snug. Hopefully one year I’ll be able to head to the northern hemisphere over the festive season!

  7. Glasshouse Xmas Party Candle

When I think of what Christmas smells like, I imagine warm, fresh gingerbread wafting through the house. With Glasshouse’s Xmas Party being a festive combination of nutmeg and sweet orange, it’d be the perfect candle that would well and truely bring the Christmas spirit to my home.

  8. Trigem Tabletop Jewellery Stand

Since moving to Melbourne I haven’t had a proper way of storing my jewellery. To be honest I’m surprised I haven’t lost anything yet! I can be pretty particular with how I like to store my jewellery. I’d love for it to be on display, but it has to be organised too. I’ve had far too many jewellery stands that twist my necklace chains over the years. Thankfully, UO have a range of stands that hit the target for my needs, including their Trigem Tabletop Jewellery Stand, which I fell in love with the moment I laid my eyes on it!

  9. MIMCO Delerium Stud

Since receiving my MIMCO timepiece for my 22nd birthday a few months ago, I’ve kept my eyes on their jewellery collection. If you’ve read my November Wish List, you would’ve seen the MIMCO Mystic ring I’m dying to get my hands on. Well this month it’s their Delerium studs. I’ve got a thing for statement studs, as they’re perfect for adding a bit of character to my work style. Hopefully if I don’t find them under the Christmas tree, I can buy them in the New Year to help with my return to work!

  10. LUSH Santa’s Christmas Shower Cream

I love how festive LUSH can get with their products, but I’m also spewing that they’ve got so much variety because I want it all! Like all of their products, Santa’s Christmas Shower Cream features many amazing ingredients, but the one that stood out to me was cinnamon. I love the smell of cinnamon all year round, but my love for it spikes around Christmas because it’s so damn festive.

  11. Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau de Toilette

Seeing as I’m actually leaving the house these days to head to work, I’m in desperate need of a new perfume because I’m running out so quickly! Funnily enough, most of the perfumes I’ve had over the years I’ve never purchased. And no, I didn’t shoplift them! They’ve all been gifts. Thankfully my friends and family have a great sense of smell because they were all amazing! But I feel like it’s time for me to make the decision, and I’d love to give Marc Jacob’s Daisy a whirl.

  12. Tea Garden Co. Gingerbread Man Tea

There’s a pretty consistent theme going on here – anything that smells and tastes like cinnamon, nutmeg or just gingerbread in general I am in love with! My first encounter with Tea Garden Co. was at Melbourne’s Finders Keepers Market in July this year. They had some amazing teas on display and while I wish I could’ve signed up to their tea subscription boxes there and then, I’d only been in Melbourne for 24 hours and had yet to find a secure full-time job. A few months down the track, I’ve kept a close eye on their teas to see what’s going to be perfect for the upcoming season, and I just couldn’t look past their Gingerbread Man tea for Christmas!

  13. Fuji Instax Mini 90 Neo Classic

I’ve been in love with Fuji’s Instax Neo Classic for quite some time now. Firstly, it looks so flashy (pardon the pun). Secondly, I need to replace my previous Polaroid camera. Maybe one day I’ll get my hands on this little number, because I’d love to take it with me to capture adventures near and far.

  14. Kikki.K Cloth Gift Bag Large: JOY

I have to confess – I may have purchased these already. I mean, where am I supposed to put my stocking stuffers if I have no stockings?

  15. Letterfolk ‘The Writer’ Board

Similarly to the UO pillow and Fuji Neo Classic, Letterfolk’s ‘The Writer’ Board has been on my ultimate wish list for far too long! There are so many ways to use it around the house; weekly menus, milestones, inspirational quotes. Fingers crossed Santa might leave one under the Christmas tree this year!

So there’s my December/Christmas wish list for 2017. Have you had a chance to write yours yet? What are you hoping to find under the Christmas tree? Let me know in the comments!
